No, the demo is no longer available. The free demo of Godzilla: Destroy All Monsters Melee Remastered ran on Steam from October 15 to October 27, 2026. When we checked the Steam store data on November 7, 2026, there was no demo listed. The full game has been out since November 3.

What the demo included

Atari's announcement on Steam described the demo like this:

  • Three monsters: Godzilla, Gigan and King Ghidorah.
  • Local play: up to 4 players on one screen.
  • Online play: 1 vs 1 quick matches.
  • Destruction Mode: level the city to score as many points as you can.

The demo was a PC-only Steam release. We found no demo for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S or Nintendo Switch 2.

Does demo progress carry over?

To be confirmed. We have not found any statement from Atari about demo saves or progress transferring to the full game. The full game starts you with four monsters (Godzilla 1990, Gigan, Megalon and Anguirus) regardless.

Is there another way to try it?

There is no current free trial. If you want to see the game before buying, look at gameplay videos of the full release, or check the price page for the standard edition, which costs $29.99 on Steam, PlayStation and Xbox.
